ZAGREB, July 8 (Hina) - The "Lira" choir from Zagreb, led by conductor Tomislav Uhlik, successfully performed at the sixth international festival of choirs in Clusone, Lombardia, held between June 28 and July 3, the Croatian-Israeli
association reported Friday. The festival is considered to be the greatest European festival of choirs. This year, 2,500 choirs from 23 countries and three continents performed at the festival. "Lira" was selected to perform at the international music manifestation (July 3-6) after the festival. The choir performed music made by Croatian composers, Jewish melos, as well as the music from the international repertoire. The successful nine-day tour was organised by president of the choir Mihael Montiljo.(hina) it.
