During a meeting of tourist sector officials on the northern island of Krk, the minister boasted of a 20% increase in tourist arrivals and a 21% increase in overnight stays in June year on year.

(Hina) - In the first half of 2011, a total of 3.2
million tourists visited Croatia, which was an 11% rise from the first
half of 2010, and their overnight stays rose by 13% to 13.7 million,
Tourism Minister Damir Bajs said on Friday.
