SIBENIK CHILDREN FESTIVAL OPENED SIBENIK, June 25 (Hina) - The 40th International Children Festival was opened in the coastal town of Sibenik on Saturday. The event, which has gathered troupes from Italy, Austria, Germany, Slovakia,
Hungary, Bulgaria, Japan, Egypt, Great Britain, France and Slovenia, lasts until July 8. The festival includes 114 different programmes and 10 workshops. The festival was declared open by a boy, Filip Bakula, and the gathered were addressed by Culture Minister Antun Vujic, the envoy of the Croatian President under whose auspices this year's festival is held, and Sibenik-Knin County Prefect Gordan Baraka.(hina) rml
