ZAGREB, June 20 (Hina) - A total of 351,000 unemployed persons were registered with the Croatian Employment Bureau on the last day of May, which is 1.5 percent less than the month before and 11.4 percent more than in May last year.
During May, 17,600 persons registered with the Employment Bureau, which is a 21.7 percent increase in relation to the same period last year. According to the Bureau data, 12,000 persons found a job, which is a 34.2 percent increase compared to the same period last year. Most unemployed persons are those aged between 20 and 24 (20 percent), followed by persons aged between 25 and 29 (15.3 percent) and those aged between 30 and 34 (13 percent).(hina) mm rml
