ZAGREB, June 9 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Ivica Racan on Friday told reporters that he hoped the resignation of State Prosecutor Berislav Zivkovic would be accepted by the State Judicial Council (DSV). Regarding this matter I am

Earlier today Zivkovic told Hina on the phone that he was going to resign after he returned from his vacation in the beginning of July. In his interview released by Friday's issue of the daily "Slobodna Dalmacija", Zivkovic said he was intending to step down after Croatian top officials - President Stjepan Mesic, Prime Minister Ivica Racan and Justice Minister Stjepan Ivanisevic - expressed objections to his work.(hina) ms
