ZAGREB, June 8 (Hina) - According to data on the tourist turnover for June, this year's tourist season will be much better than 1999 and 1998. Some 100,000 tourists are vacationing in Adriatic resorts, which is a 30 percent increase
compared to the same period last year. About 60,000 tourists are vacationing in tourist resorts in Istria, which is 30 percent more than last year and three percent more than the year before. About 17,000 tourists are visiting the northern Adriatic region of Kvarner, which is also a 30 percent rise compared to 1999. A total of 3,807 guests - 414 domestic and 3,393 foreign ones - are visiting resorts in Zadar County, which is a 113 percent increase in relation to last year. The same increase was reported in Sibenik County, where 3,500 tourist arrivals were reported.
