SPLIT, June 5 (Hina) - The County Court in the southern Croatian city of Split on Monday extended detention for three former heads of the Hajduk soccer club. The detention has been prolonged on account of founded suspicion that the
three suspects could influence evidence and witnesses. Former Hajduk director Vedran Rozic and former financial and sports director Bartul Kaleb and Ivan Buljan were put in detention on June 1 due to the suspicion that the persons have been abusing powers and conducting illegal activities in the period between 1992 and 1997. The majority of suspicions are related to the disappearing of money from the club's account in an Austrian bank, at which money for the transfer of players have been paid. The amount has been estimated to DM8 million. Charges have also been filed against former president of the Hajduk supervising committee Zdeslav Alajbeg, former president of the management board Nenad Vidosevic
