POZEGA POZEGA, June 3 (Hina) - Croatian President Stipe Mesic on Saturday paid an unofficial visit to the eastern town of Pozega, where he held a meeting with the chancellors of Croatia's associate-degree colleges. During the meeting,
President Mesic was informed about the problems which associate-degree colleges, which are attended by almost one third of all university students in Croatia, are facing. Following the meeting, Mesic visited the high school he had once attended, where he and his school friends celebrated their 45th school reunion. Mesic also made a tour of the construction site of a new high school building and visited St. Lawrence's Church and the bishop's ordinariate.(hina) rml
