ZAGREB, June 1 (Hina) - Croatia's First Deputy Prime Minister Goran Granic on Thursday received a Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) representative for talks on a study the agency will make on reducing pollution in the
Sava river basin. According to a statement from the government's Media and Public Relations Office, Croatia suggested that JICA realise the study as part of technical assistance by Japan's government. Granic and Taketo Kuroki, the representative of JICA's department for development studies, said they hoped cooperation on this project would open possibilities for cooperation in science, high technology, and environmental protection.(hina) ha
