ZAGREB, May 26 (Hina) - Assistant Croatian Homeland War Soldiers Minister Pero Kovacevic was on Friday dismissed by decision on Minister Ivica Pancic which was based on Kovacevic's written resignation, the Ministry said in a
statement. Pancic stressed in the statement that the reasons for which Kovacevic had been dismissed from duty did not correspond to his claims, and the true reasons for this would be disclosed soon. Friday's press claimed Pero Kovacevic had said he was resigning due to his dissatisfaction with the manner in which the Ministry had been functioning the past several months, and was tired of being "between a rock and a hard place".(hina) lml
