Crkvenac stressed he had spoken with Dutch representatives about the course of privatisation in Croatia in which, he said, Dutch companies and banks could participate, as well as the possibilities of cooperation in the field of technical assistance and within international financial institutions. Dutch Finance Minister Zalm said the signed agreement would be of great importance for Dutch investors interested in Croatia. He asserted that the Netherlands were on the fifth position in investments in Croatia, and intended to improve this position.
