ZAGREB FESTIVAL OF ANIMATED FILMS ZAGREB, May 22 (Hina) - The official programme of the 14th World festival of animated films, which will be held in Zagreb between June 21 and 25, includes 92 films from 27 countries, of which 55 films
will participate in the competition part of the festival. 585 films from 47 countries registered for the Zagreb festival of animated films. The majority of the films in the competition part of the festival come from Great Britain (18 films), followed by the United States (nine), Canada (seven), and Germany (three). Australia, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Hungary, Italy, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, the Netherlands will participate with one or two films per country. Croatia will be represented by Nicole Hewitt's film "In/dividu" and Daniel Suljic's "A Film with a Girl". The Life Achievement awarded will be presented to Czech artist of animation Jan Svankma

Apart from retrospectives of his films, also shown at the festival
will be retrospectives of the Indian and Israeli animated film and
of the independent Spanish production and video animation in 90's.
