ZAGREB, May 22 (Hina) - Branko Culo from Vitez has walked 1,050 kilometres by Monday, an organiser of the walk, Slobodan Lang, reported Monday. Branko Culo has started out walking from The Hague on April 3 in protest against the
sentence read to General Tihomir Blaskic read by the Hague-based international war crimes tribunal, towards Vitez in central Bosnia. Culo has been walking for 25 days now and should traverse 1,700 kilometres, or 42 kilometres per day if he wants to reach his destination by June 11, as he had planned, Lang told a news conference. Culo's pilgrimage has been divided into four stages. Upon arrival in Maribor (Slovenia) the "way of the cross" will follow to Zagreb, during which he will recall all the suffering which occurred in Croatia throughout history.
