ZAGREB, May 20 (Hina) - The Croatian National Theatre from Split will participate in the Bonn Biennale between June 22 and July 2 with the play "Cigla" (Brick). The Bonn festival presents the best European plays based on new texts.
The authors of "Cigla" are renown artists - actor Filip Sovagovic, who wrote the drama, and director Paolo Magelli. The Split theatre has already performed this play at the 25th Days of Europe in the Swiss town Froiburg at the beginning of May. According to reviews in the Swiss press, the play was a huge success. According to Geneva's "Le Temps", "the excellent actors are using a tragic tone which makes the audience's hearts sink."
