Nama employees demand that the Government, namely the Croatian
Privatisation Fund, endorse a financial reconstruction programme
for Nama which was drafted by the Privredna Bank Zagreb in
cooperation with the Nama management. In case Nama goes bankrupt,
the unionists demand that dismissal wages be paid out to all
employees who lost their jobs. The protesters expect the arrival of
ministers of the Government who are scheduled to start a session at
10AM.
The Management Board of the Croatian Privatisation Fund failed to
endorse the Nama financial reconstruction programme, so Croatia's
largest chain of department stores is most probably facing a
bankruptcy.
