OKUCANI-Politika FIFTH ANNIVERSARY OF "FLASH" OPERATION MARKED IN OKUCANI OKUCANI, May 2 (Hina) - The fifth anniversary of Croatia's military and police operation "Flash" was marked on Tuesday under the organisation of the Defence
Ministry. Soldiers and police officers completely liberated Croatia's occupied region of west Slavonia in 1995, creating conditions for the "Storm" operation and the peaceful reintegration of the Croatian Danube River region. Wreaths were laid and candles lit in memory of soldiers and police officers killed during the operation by Croatian President's envoy Lieutenant General Imra Agotic, Parliament envoy Dubravka Horvat and a Government delegation including Defence Minister Jozo Rados, Interior Minister Sime Lucin, Croatian Homeland War Soldiers Ivan Pancic and Deputy Prime Minister Zeljka Antunovic.
