ZAGREB, April 22 (Hina) - Croatian President Stipe Mesic on Saturday received a delegation of the Slovene-Croatian Friendship Society Kolpa Vinica. The delegation handed Mesic a message by Slovene President Milan Kucan with his best
wishes to Croatian citizens. "This visit, too, bears witness that we are not far apart, and that we can do even more in the process of European integration by realising our joint strategic goals and promoting both local and trans-border cooperation," Mesic said. The delegation also performed a short cultural programme. Present at the meeting were Slovene Ambassador Bostjan Kovacic, Croatia's Ambassador to Slovenia, Ivica Mastruko, a Slovene MP and president of the Croatian-Slovene parliamentary committee for friendship, Joze Ansic, and the Society's president Bozo Dimnik.(hina) rml
