ZAGREB, April 17 (Hina) - Representatives of the Association of the Families of Imprisoned and Missing Croatian Soldiers on Monday laid wreaths, lit candles, and prayed at a common grave with the remains of 572 Croatian soldiers and
civilians at Zagreb's Mirogoj cemetery. Attending today's ceremony were delegations from the ministries of interior, defence, Government Office for Imprisoned and Missing Persons, and the Minister of Croatian Homeland War Soldiers, Ivica Pancic. Addressing the gathered, Pancic said the search for the truth about the missing and imprisoned must be the main task of the Croatian state. He said it was out of the question that the exhumation and identification of Croatian soldiers and civilians might be stopped due to the exhumation of graves which are suspected of hiding the bodies of Serbs killed in the area of Gospic. Addressing the gathered, Pancic said the search for the truth about

He said it was out of the question that the exhumation and
identification of Croatian soldiers and civilians might be stopped
due to the exhumation of graves which are suspected of hiding the
bodies of Serbs killed in the area of Gospic.
Secret services are expected to assist in this operation, Pancic
said, adding the services had gathered extensive documentation
which no one had analysed so far, and which was believed to contain
information on victims and their executors.
