Begin to Sing) at the 14th international film festival in Washington. The film, for which an extra ticket was sought, was seen by packed film theatres on Thursday and Friday.

his film be given such an enthusiastic reception, Croatian director
Krsto Papic said after the showing of his film "Kad mrtvi zapjevaju"
(When the Dead Begin to Sing) at the 14th international film
festival in Washington.
The film, for which an extra ticket was sought, was seen by packed
film theatres on Thursday and Friday. #L#
Papic's film was named the best film at the Fort Lauderdale film
festival in Florida, and Papic received the best director award in
Aspen, Colorado last year.
The director met reporters and film fans at a party given at the
Croatian embassy in Washington on Friday.
