CROATIAN DEFENCE MINISTER VISITS GREAT BRITAIN

ZAGREB, March 15 (Hina) - Cooperation between Croatia and Great Britain so far has not been significantly developed, and this visit is an opportunity for it to strengthen, Croatian Defence Minister Jozo Rados said Wednesday night ahead if his flight for a visit to Great Britain. "Great Britain is a country with a good reputation and great influence in the international community and NATO. The cooperation between Croatia and Great Britain so far has not been significant, and this visit is an opportunity for it to strengthen and for it to open up towards the signing of an agreement on military cooperation. This is also an opportunity for Great Britain's support to Croatia's accession into the Partnership for Peace Programme and further drawing close to NATO," Rados said at the Zagreb airport. Besides holding talks with his British counterpart, Geoff Hoon, Rados will be a guest at the British Parliament's committee for defence and hold talks with the British armed forces chief-of- staff. "I hope that all these talks will result with further progress in Croatia's aspirations to join Euro-Atlantic associations," Rados added. (hina) lml
