ZAGREB, March 14 (Hina) - The former Government left only US$325 million of debt which can be settled within 20 days of the budget influx, former Croatian Prime Minister Zlatko Matesa said on Tuesday. Matesa is currently a Croatian
Democratic Union (HDZ) representative to the Croatian National Sabor's House of Representatives. "All other debts could be transferred from one year to another, and they were not created by my Government", Matesa said at a session of the Committee for Economy and Reconstruction. The total budget debt amounts US$1.16 billion. This year's motion on the budget includes US$0.45 billion which would settle a part of the debt.
