ANKARA, March 6 (Hina) - Turkish President Suleyman Demirel on Monday received a delegation of the Croatian National Sabor's Foreign Policy Committee, and held talks on the stabilisation of the situation in the former Yugoslavia and
on relations between the Croatia and Turkey. The Croatian delegation was headed by a vice president of the Sabor and the president of the Foreign Policy Committee, Zdravko Tomac, who presented President Demirel the letter of Croatian President Stipe Mesic, in which President Mesic expressed gratitude for Demirel's contribution to the successful overall development of Croatian relations. Tomac also forwarded an invitation to Demirel to officially visit Croatia. Tomac confirmed Mesic's presence at the marking of the 700th anniversary of the Otoman Empire in Istanbul, and said that Mesic was to officially visit Turkey.
