"The gravest crime after the Second World War in Europe, genocide in Srebrenica" is commemorated on 11 July, Josipovic told reporters.
It will be an honour to me to go to Srebrenica, together with my friends from Bosnia and Herzegovina, to pay tribute to victims on 11 July, he added.
Aziz Hasanovic, the deputy of the Zagreb mufti, thanked Josipovic on the support to this initiative launched by families of Srebrenica victims.
In mid-July 1995 Bosnian Serb forces raided the eastern enclave of Srebrenica, which was a UN safe haven at the time, and massacred up to 8,000 Bosnian Muslims (Bosniaks).
