BERLIN BERLIN, Feb 16 (Hina) - Croatian Premier Ivica Racan and German federal chancellor Gerhard Schroeder on Wednesday afternoon began official talks on Croatia's integration with the European Union and Croatian-German relations.
Schroeder received Croatia's newly-elected prime minister with high state and military honours. Racan is heading a Croatian delegation which also includes Foreign Minister Tonino Picula and European Integration Minister Ivan Jakovcic. They arrived in Berlin yesterday evening, following visits to Lisbon and Brussels, where they held talks with high-ranking officials of the EU and the NATO. Earlier today, the Croatian delegation held talks with German Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer, and German businessmen and bankers. The delegation is returning to Zagreb in the evening.(hina) ha
