GONG EXPECTS TO BE LET MONITOR SABOR'S WORK AFTER ELECTIONS

ZAGREB, Feb 6 (Hina) - A non-governmental organisation called GONG is ready to monitor Monday's second round of Croatia's presidential election, and about 5,000 volunteers of this NGO are to follow the voting. They will collect and process data from the fifth percent of polling stations in Croatia and for the first time in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Authorised parliamentary bodies are expected on Tuesday to give permission for GONG (citizens' organised monitoring of elections) to observe the work of the composition of the Croatian National Sabor's House of Representatives constituted after January 3 parliamentary ballot, said Igor Markovic, the editor-in-chief of GONG magazine. Markovic reiterated that all members of GONG were working voluntarily without receiving money for their activities within this NGO. Besides, this organisation gathers older people and not only the youth, he told Sunday's news
