ZAGREB, Jan 14 (Hina) - An order was issued on Friday banning the import in and transport over Croatia of poultry and poultry product of Italian origin. The order was issued by Croatian Agriculture Minister Ivan Djurkic in view of
preventing the contagious disease Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza, the poultry plague, from entering Croatia, said a statement from the Agriculture Ministry. The order refers to all kinds of poultry and feathered wildlife, eggs from said birds, and poultry products from Italy. All issued certificates on the veterinary-sanitary conditions for the import of such product are out of force.(hina) ha mm
