ZAGREB, Jan 3 (Hina) - The majority of polling stations in Croatia were opened on time and equipped with necessary material, spokesman of the Organised Election Monitoring by Citizens (GONG) Aleksandra Kuratko told a press conference
on Monday. She said that the voting process was proceeding regularly. At certain polls citizens noticed that incomplete or wrong electoral material was delivered, therefore those polls were opened late. Several GONG observers were not permitted to be present at polls, however, the issue was solved with the help of the National Electoral Commission. GONG representatives thanked the crew of a police boat who helped an observer to travel to the northern Adriatic island of Ilovik.
