ZAGREB, Dec 19 (Hina) - A national coordinating body of Homeland War veterans' associations demands establishing the responsibility of Economy Minister Goranko Fizulic for failing to punish criminal activities in domestic shipyards.
The associations maintain that Fizulic, as the representative of the owner, the Republic of Croatia, has failed to take the necessary measures to stop the employment of foreign labour without "work permits." The Economy Ministry supports demands for the import of labour, even though Croatia's unemployed currently number 385,000, including more than 50,000 war veterans, say the associations.(hina) ha sb
