ZAGREB/KISINJEV, Dec 5 (Hina) - Expanding bilateral relations, particularly in terms of economy, was the main topic of a meeting of Croatian President Stjepan Mesic and his Moldovan counterpart Vladimir Voronin in Kisinjev Wednesday,
the Mesic's foreign affairs advisor Tomislav Jakic told Hina. The two presidents issued a joint statement wherein they confirmed their countries' commitment to joining united Europe. Both heads of state condemn global terrorism and transborder organised crime. They announced their countries would actively fight against it. Mesic invited Voronin to visit Zagreb. After their delegations' talks, Mesic and Voronin signed an agreement on the stimulation and protection of investments, while the Croatian Deputy Foreign Minister Vesna Cvjetkovic-Kurelec with her Moldovan counterpart signed an agreement on cancelling visas on diplomatic and official passports.
