SARAJEVO, Dec 4 (Hina) - An investigation carried out by SFOR members in Bosnia-Herzegovina has established that the persons who were arrested in Kiseljak last week for suspicion of having smuggled weapons, were not in possession of
any radioactive material, Stabilisation Force spokesman Rayl Morell said on Tuesday. It appears that the four suspects apprehended by the Bosnian Federation police were involved in an attempt of fraud, since they were trying to sell material for which they claimed was radioactive, Morell told reporters. Three citizens of Bosnia-Herzegovina and one Yugoslav citizen were arrested near Sarajevo on November 30 in a local police and SFOR joint operation. The SFOR spokesman explained that experts had been sent to Bosnia from Italy to establish whether the suspects were smuggling radioactive material.
