ZAGREB, Dec 4 (Hina) - In this year's first ten months, a total of 9.92 billion dollars worth of goods were exported from Croatia, which is 5.6 percent more than in the same period last year, the State Bureau of Statistics said,
adding that this was a greater rate of growth than in the previous period -- in the first nine months, a 2.9 percent growth in exports was registered. At the same time in the first ten months, 7.61 billion-dollar-worth of goods were imported into the country, which is 18.9 percent more than in the first ten months of last year. The deficit in Croatia's trade from January to October amounted to almost 3.7 billion dollars, or 37.1 percent more than in the same period last year. Exports covered only 51.5 percent of imports.
