ZAGREB, Nov 22 (Hina) - The Alliance of Croatian Anti-Fascist Veterans (SABH) requested of the Croatian government to equalise the rights of soldiers of the People's Liberalisation War "who honourably fought World War Two and after
the war built the state", with the rights of veterans of the Croatian Homeland Defence War 1991-1995. The SABH presidency at Thursday's session adopted a Resolution on the position of WWII veterans in Croatia today, in which they claim that they were constantly being discriminated against on the social and economic fields. Seeking an equalisation of pensions, disability compensations and other rights of participants of all wars, the Resolution states that the average pension of WWII soldiers was 1,735 kuna (US$206.5), while the average pension of Croatian Homeland War veterans was 5,354 kuna (US$637.4).(hina) lml sb
