ZAGREB, Nov 21 (Hina) - Hina on Wednesday received a letter containing a suspicious powder. The letter was taken by officials of the Croatian Public Health Institute (HZJZ). The letter, which arrived along with other, regular mail,
was addressed to the editor-in-chief and the sender wrote his name on it, Franjo Egri. Police and the HZJZ were immediately notified and upon arrival, at 9am, the health workers took the letter, the powder and disinfected several desks. Hina employees who handled the letter were given antibiotics as a prevention. The building was not evacuated and the editorial offices continued working undisturbed. Results of the analysis of the powder will be known within three days. Since fear of anthrax came to life in the world more than a month ago, there have been more than 2,000 police interventions to calls about suspicious mail, and about 700 interventions of the HZJZ epidemiological services in
