Reporters and the TI will advocate the passing of a law on the rights to information which will guarantee availability of information about the public affairs of citizens and the media. It is the obligation of politicians and public persona in the race for political positions to publicly declare their views on the problem of corruption and to set an example by making public information about their property, incomes and possible conflicts of interests, thus contributing to the efficiency of political institutions. The participants warned about the danger of commercialisation of the media affecting the professional and ethic conduct of reporters. (hina) lml
