those who violated the freedom of informing."
On Tuesday evening, Forum 21 issued a statement "in connection with
the authorities' call on journalists and other citizens who were
wiretapped by and under surveillance of (Croatia's) intelligence
services and their predecessors to read their files and thus
consent to their destruction."

terror against citizens, including journalists, and the
Government's decision to destroy criminal evidence," read the
statement.
The journalists' corps demands the government reveal, with the
citizens' consent, "the names... of those with secret files and
those who intimidated journalists, mocked the Constitution and
undermined Croatia's democracy," read the statement signed by
Forum 21 president Drago Pilsel.
