The company expects nearly 1.11 million passengers to fly with
Croatia Airlines counting from the beginning of 2001 until the end
of the summer schedule on October 27. This is a 17 percent increase
in the number of passengers who flew with Croatia Airlines in the
same period in 2000, and a five percent increase than was planned
for this year. Croatia Airlines expects around 1.22 million of
passengers to fly with the company this year, or 14 percent more
than last year. It is expected that over 1.26 million passengers
will travel with Croatia Airlines, that is between 40 and 50
thousand passengers more than planned.
Revenues from overseas passengers with Croatia Airlines will
decrease by 15 to 20 percent due to the recent terrorist attacks in
the US in September.
The company has removed the Zagreb-Tel-Aviv flight from its winter
schedule as the route is planned exclusively for the summer
season.
