ZAGREB/GOSPIC, Oct 20 (Hina) - The remains of 28 persons killed during the 1990s Homeland War were discovered this week by a team of the government's office for detained and missing persons in two mass graves in the Gospic area in
central Croatia. The remains of another two persons were found in single graves. The remains of a total of 30 victims have been discovered this week there, the head of the government office, Lt. Col. Ivan Grujic, told Hina on Saturday. A two-day excavation in the largest mass grave in the area, Golubnjaca 3, was completed yesterday, with the remains of 24 persons found. The exhumed bodies have been sent to the Forensics Institute in Zagreb, where the identity and cause of death of the victims will be established with DNA analysis.
