ZAGREB, Oct 17 (Hina) - The ruling coalition's Social Liberals (HSLS) have joined the opposition's parties in demanding an irrevocable resignation of Health Minister Ana Stavljenic-Rukavina in the wake of last week's death of 23
dialysis patients. HSLS vice president Vilim Herman told reporters on Wednesday the party did not comment on the minister's expertise or the functioning of the health sector but did condemn manipulation with the resignation and the making of the mandate available. Vilim said the HSLS did not have a mechanism whereby the government would withdraw a minister. Stavljenic-Rukavina was appointed to the office at a proposal of the HSLS.(hina) ha sb
