MOSTAR, Oct 11 (Hina) - The Mostar branch Office of the High Representative to Bosnia-Herzegovina (OHR) on Thursday decried the recent announcement by Croat representatives at the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton Assembly that Croat
officials might boycott work in cantonal bodies of authority. The Croat representatives' bench at the cantonal assembly forwarded a letter to the UN Mission Chief in the country, Jacques Paul Klein, claiming that the national structure in the cantonal Interior Ministry was disrupted to the detriment of the Croats, since neither the minister nor other elected senior officials were Croats. The MPs recommended Croat officials consider their future participation in the cantonal government and assembly until an ethnic eqality is reached in the Interior Ministry. OHR spokeswoman in Mostar Avis Benes expressed concern about the possible boycott and stressed this was no way to solve problems.(
