ZAGREB ZAGREB, Sept 26 (Hina) - Eight years ago, the families of Homeland Defence War victims built a "Wall of Pain" in front of the former UN headquarters in Zagreb, using red and black bricks with the names of the killed, imprisoned
and missing Croatian soldiers and civilians. Representatives of the "Apel" centre and victims' associations on Wednesday recalled the events and paid their respects to all people who gave their lives for Croatia, as well as to innocent victims of aggression everywhere, including the recent terrorist attack in the United States. Croatia is still searching for 1,499 missing citizens. Apel's representatives, who organised the marking of the eighth anniversary of the Wall of Pain, carried banners with the words "God Save Croatia" and the names and photographs of Croatian generals Mirko Norac, Ante Gotovina and Rahim Ademi, sought by the international war crimes tribunal in The Hague.
