ZAGREB, Sept 21 (Hina) - The Croatian Chamber of Crafts (HOK) and the Yugoslav Chamber of Commerce (PKJ) on Friday signed an agreement on cooperation aimed at advancing their economic relations and those of their members. The
agreement is also aimed at improving the flow of information between companies and inciting business cooperation, HOK president Stjepan Safran said. Croatian-Yugoslav trade was a mere $27 million in 1997 but jumped to $137 last year. For comparison, Croatia's trade with Austria amounted to $822 million last year, that with Germany $2 billion and Italy $2.34 billion.
