KARLOVAC, Sept 19 (Hina) - The Karlovac-based diesel engine factory "Adriadiesel" has become the only manufacturer of four-stroke diesel engines in Croatia, as Split's shipyard Brodogradiliste is giving up this part of production
because of its good business producing two-stroke ship engines, Adriadiesel's director Vladimir Hristov said on Wednesday. The two, until now competitive, companies began to discuss narrow specialisation of production and cooperation in the production of spare parts. "Adriadiesel" will strengthen its position on the ship-building and diesel thermal power plants market and improve its competitiveness on the global market, Hristov told Hina.(hina) lml
