BELGRADE, Sept 16 (Hina) - Yugoslav hackers could soon be held to account for breaking into foreign web sites and threats of retaliation made during NATO's bombing of Yugoslavia in 1999. Quoting a source at the Yugoslav Interior
Ministry, Beta news agency reported on Sunday about requests from abroad for punishing those who cracked others' web sites and abused other people's credit card numbers via the Internet. Beta does not say if the requests are in connection with terrorist acts in the United States, or if they have come in the wake of a wider operation aimed at discovering all who in any way made threats of retaliation and terrorism. The Beta source says the requests for damages are "very high" and do not refer only to credit card numbers and the damage Yugoslav hackers caused by attacking foreign web sites during the NATO raids.(hina) ha
