ZAGREB ZAGREB, Sept 8 (Hina) - Three Czech and one Austrian citizen were killed and one seriously injured in a car crash which took place on the outskirts of Zagreb at 0225 hours on Saturday, the Interior Ministry said. The accident
occurred when 34-year-old Lazar Jovanovic, driving a van with Austrian licence plates, during overtaking crashed into a vehicle with Czech licence plates coming from the opposite direction. He was killed on the spot, as was the driver of the Czech car, 48-year-old Jindrich Petrla, and his fellow passengers, 50-year-old Mihaela Petrlova and 11-year-old Mihaela Petrlova. Lukas Petrla, aged seven, sustained serious injuries, but doctors at a Zagreb hospital said his life was not in danger.(hina) ha
