PRISTINA, Sept 3 (Hina) - Only a week before the final deadline, set by the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Mission in Kosovo, political parties and coalitions in the southern Yugoslav province have not yet
submitted lists of candidates for the new Kosovar parliament to the electoral commission. Each of the political parties and coalitions has an opportunity to submit a list of 110 candidates, one third of whom should be women. Thus far, 18 parties had been registered for the November 17 elections, while the Albanian Republican Party, five Serbian and one Turkish party, as well as the newly formed Bosniak Coalition "Vatan" had not submitted their lists. Albanian media have published today the party leaders will also carry the party lists. Therefore, Ibrahim Rugova will carry the Kosovar Democratic Alliance list, which won the last election, Hashim Thaqi will carry the Kosovar Democratic Party
