BELGRADE, Aug 31 (Hina) - Yugoslav businessman Stanko Cane Subotic pressed slander charges with the Belgrade municipal court on Friday against Serb Radical Party president Vojislav Seselj, Subotic's representative Radoslav Tadic said.
The accusations Seselj made against Subotic at a Wednesday's news conference are "arbitrary and untrue," Tadic said. At the news conference, Seselj said Subotic had organised the murder of Gen. Radovan Badzo Stojicic, a former Serbian interior minister. He added an arrest warrant was then issued for Subotic, who fled to Croatia where he "bought" citizenship. Subotic returned to Serbia after the warrant was annulled following last year's change in authority, he added.(hina) ha sb
