night.

The cast included a renown Croatian actor Rade Serbedzija, who
lives in London and has built a respectable international career
over the past ten years, as King Lear, Croatian actor Josip Genda as
Count Gloucester, and other renown actors from Croatia, Bosnia-
Herzegovina and Slovenia.
The five-hour play, which describes the downfall of the Hapsburg
monarchy, was staged near a 19th-century fortress, the largest in
the system of defence of Pula, the main naval base of the Hapsburg
monarchy at the time.
The play was directed by Lenka Udovicki.
