Brkljacic performed better than in qualifications, even though it
was shorter by 1.06 meters than her best throw of this year.
Still, she made a progress in relation to last year's Olympic Games
where she was ranked as the 11th.
Cuban Yipsi Moreno won a gold medal. This is her first victory in big
competitions. A silver medal went to Russian Olga Kuzenkova, who
came to Edmonton with best season's result. Australian Bronwyn
Eagles took a bronze.
