BELGRADE, Aug 4 (Hina) - Upon returning from a visit to the United States on Saturday, Yugoslav Foreign Minister Goran Svilanovic said he expected "the Paris Club will write off a big part of (Yugoslavia's) debt." The debt the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia owes the members of the Paris Club, namely Great Britain, Italy, France, Japan, and Canada, totals $4.6 billion. Svilanovic said the U.S. talks focused on Serbs' participation in Kosovo elections in November. This issue was discussed with State Secretary Colin Powell, who was told Serbs expected a higher level of security in Kosovo and learning about missing and abducted persons. (hina) ha
