OGULIN, Aug 2 (Hina) - The director of the Bosiljevo-Sv. Rok highway project, Jack Hume, on Thursday briefed a four-member supervisory committee from London about the work's progress, in particular safety measures for work on the next
section of the highway which passes through mine fields. The III B2 section from Licki Osik to Sv. Rok is 32 km long and is part of a highway connecting continental Croatia with the coast. Croatian Highways, the investor, is obliged to demine the corridor along the section, which has been almost completed, Damir Vucic, a spokesperson of Bechtel in Croatia, said in Ogulin on Thursday. bridges or viaducts will be completed by 2002, as 60 percent of this
section has been finished.
